The publications we run

Savore Media owns and operates each of these. Same kitchen, same testing standard, different readers.

#01 · Home cooks

Simply Cooking Recipes

A recipe site for people who want dinner to work. Every recipe is cooked and tested before it’s published, and the steps are written so a home cook can follow them without guessing.

Who reads it

Home cooks. People getting dinner on the table on a weeknight, planning a holiday meal, or trying to get better at the basics without a lecture.

What it runs

More than 200 recipes and 70 how-to guides. Weeknight dinners and one-pot meals, slow cooker and freezer-friendly food, seasonal collections, and a good amount of cooking from other places: Italian, Mexican, French, Middle Eastern. The guides cover the problems people actually search for, like a broken sauce or mushy rice. There’s a newsletter too, the Simply Delicious Digest.

#02 · The trade

Modern Culinarian

A professional culinary publication. It’s written for someone who already knows how to cook, so it skips the hand-holding and spends its time on the decisions: what to buy, why a method works, and how it fails.

Who reads it

Chefs, cooks, and people who run kitchens. Also the serious home cook who wants to read what the trade reads.

What it runs

Four beats. Procurement and supply chain, plant-forward cooking, technique, and the professional perspective. Alongside those are chef-minded recipes and the reference guides cooks keep open during prep, like internal temperatures, substitutions, and recipe conversions. Working cooks can submit their own recipes and get published under their own name.

#03 · In the works

The Modern California Pantry

Our first cookbook. California-rooted pantry cooking for home kitchens, with the technique reasoning written into every recipe.

One company, out in the open

Each publication names Savore Media as its operator in its own legal pages. That’s on purpose. Separate sites for separate readers, one company responsible for all of them.
